Gamb&Ling - Place Your Bets
The Ygramul Theatre Company of Rome presents "Gamb&Ling - Place Your Bets", an innovative show exploring gambling addiction through a unique blend of theatre and play. Developed in collaboration with doctors and psychologists from the SerD of the Asl Toscana nord ovest, this work was conceived to raise awareness of the risks connected to gambling.
Through a metaphorical, participatory narrative, the show directly involves the audience — mainly high school students — in a critical reflection on gambling, highlighting how luck, not intellect, determines the outcome of games of chance. The format was designed to be highly interactive, pushing spectators to immerse themselves fully in the dynamics on stage, from playfulness to the human drama of gambling addiction.
The "Gamb&Ling" tour has been a success at several stops across Tuscany, offering an emotional, educational experience that goes beyond mere theatrical performance to become a true tool of education and prevention.
